LPD: Lincoln man cited for shooting homes with BB gun
Lincoln Police cited a man for shooting a BB gun off in a south Lincoln neighborhood and damaging homes.
LPD said officers responded to reports of vandalism south of 29th and Pine Lake Road around 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Neighbors reported an ongoing problem with a man who was shooting his BB gun at homes in the area, police said.
Police cited Rodney Simonson, 57, for discharging a weapon, damaging property, and refusing to comply with officers. Simonson, who had a previous citation for shooting at trees, squirrels, and homes, refused to sign the citation and cussed at officers, police said.
