LPD: Lincoln man found with throwing knives, meth
The driver, Cole Emal, was wanted on an outstanding warrant on traffic violations.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police arrested a 33-year-old man after finding meth and throwing knives on him during a traffic stop.
On Wednesday, an officer stopped a 1999 Chrysler 300M near the 600 block of S. 10th St. and contacted the driver, 33-year-old Cole Emal.
Emal had an outstanding warrant on traffic violations, police searched him and found 1.1 grams of meth and two double-edge throwing knives.
The officer contacted the passenger of the vehicle, 30-year-old Hector Garcia Nunez, who initially gave a false name.
Nunez had two outstanding warrants of child abuse. The officer searched Nunez and found 1.5 grams of meth on him.
Police arrested Emal for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and the outstanding warrant.
Police arrested Nunez for false reporting, possession of a controlled substance and outstanding warrants.
