LPD: Lincoln man involved in golf cart crash dies from injuries
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The man who was critically injured in a golf cart crash has died.
A spokeswoman for the Lincoln Police Department announced the death Monday.
“Our thoughts go out to his family and loved ones,” she said.
On April 19, police said 56-year-old Thomas Gourlay drove a golf cart up his driveway in the Wilderness Ridge neighborhood before veering off into his front lawn.

LPD said the golf cart hit a rock on the edge of the driveway, causing Gourlay to fall out.
According to the crash report, the golf cart may have run over him when he fell out.
Investigators said he was likely drunk at the time of the crash.
