LPD: Lincoln man sent explicit photos and videos to officer posing as 15-year-old

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man was arrested Wednesday in a sting operation by the Lincoln Police Department’s Special Victims Unit.

On June 11, Luke Woodral of Lincoln sent a friend request on social media to an account run by an SVU investigator, according to LPD.

Woodral, 34, began exchanging messages with the account, which looked like it belonged to a 15-year-old girl.

Police said he sent sexually explicit photos and videos of himself.

On Tuesday, Woodral and the undercover officer arranged to meet in person for sex.

About 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, he showed up at a bench in Sunken Gardens, where investigators took him into custody.

He was booked in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of child enticement by electronic device.
