LPD: Local jewelry store burglarized, investigation ongoing

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Early morning Thursday, Lincoln Police responded to a ringing security alarm at one Lincoln jewelry store.
Elder Jewelry’s, 2901 Pine Lake Road, front door window was shattered by the time officers arrived.

The building was empty, but the evidence that someone was there only moments ago was evident. Several display cases had been broken into throughout the business.
The total loss at this time is unknown, but the damage alone is estimated to cost $600.
