LPD: Locals lose $3,500 after garage burglary

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Over the weekend, homeowners lost around $3,500 after their garage was broken into, as reported by Lincoln Police.

The incident happened on Wednesday, just after 3 p.m. in the 500 block of Surfside Dr.

Police found the garage keypad was broken, which likely how the burglaries gained entry.

The victims, a 42-year-old female and a 47-year-old male, report a brown equestrian horse saddle, girth, bridle, and reins were taken along with other tools.
