LPD: Man kicks in door and steals suitcase after money dispute

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Thursday, just after 4:00 p.m., Lincoln Police were called to an apartment in the 4400 block of S. 27th Street on a report of a robbery. Police were told two people were trying to kick in the victim’s door.

Once they arrived on scene, the 44-year-old male victim reported he had arranged to meet a woman he met online. The woman arrived at his apartment at his apartment accompanied by another man and there was a dispute over money. The victim reported that the male threatened to kill him, so the victim fled the apartment once the door was kicked in.

Witnesses saw the male kick-in the door and leave with a suitcase. Investigators were able to identify the male was later identified as 27-year-old Quinnton Bledsoe of Omaha.

Officers made contact with Bledsoe and a female passenger during a traffic stop near 1st and Cornhusker Hwy around 10 o’clock that night. The female reported  that Bledsoe had forced her to arrange to meet up with men for money. Investigators were able to locate the stolen suitcase in a hotel room that had been rented by the female. Bledsoe was arrested for robbery, burglary, and pandering.
