LPD: Man shot multiple times after meeting woman at park
Authorities say a 37-year-old man reported being shot several times after he went to a Lincoln park to meet a woman.
Lincoln police say the man went to the area of NW 20th and W Q Street to meet the woman around 9:15 p.m. Friday.
The man told police he heard a male voice behind him and turned to see a man with a gun. A struggle ensued in which the victim was shot multiple times, police said.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
