LPD: More than $2K stolen from Lincoln storage unit

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) —  A Lincoln man claims his storage unit had been broken into sometime between Nov. 24 and Dec. 1, according to police.

The victim rents a unit at Spare Room, 4101 N 27th St. After checking on his belongings Tuesday night, he noticed the lock on his unit was missing.

According to Lincoln Police, he found three chainsaws, a floor jack, and a climbing rope to be missing.

The total loss is estimated at $2,500.
