LPD: Multiple sex trafficking arrests made in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — In November of 2020, investigators began a sex trafficking of children investigation that occurred at an apartment near N 56th and Holdrege.
During this investigation, officers with the Lincoln Police Department (LPD) interviewed two teens, ages 14- and 15-years-old. One of these teens disclosed that she had engaged in sexual acts with a man named Troy Springer on several occasions in exchange for money or drugs.

Springer was arrested on Sunday, April 18 of 2021 following a lengthy investigation.
According to LPD, Springer was setting up commercial sex acts for the juvenile victim and offered to manage her proceeds.
Two other men, identified as 32-year-old Luis Vasquez Chiquirin and 26-year-old Jose Hernandez Rivas, were also arrested in December of 2020 in connection to this investigation.
