LPD: Nearly $2,000 in vape products stolen from west Lincoln smoke shop

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are seeking the thief who burglarized a west Lincoln smoke shop earlier this month.
On Feb 3 around 4:30 a.m., officers were sent to The Bud Bank Dispensary near Coddington Avenue and West A Street after an alarm went off.
Officers arrived and found a broken window, a hammer and an open back door, according to police.
Nearly $2,000 worth of vape products were stolen, and LPD estimates the thief caused about $200 in damage to the building.
Security cameras captured a few photos of a “person of interest,” police said.
Police are also looking for a duo who broke into an employee’s vehicle at U-Pull-It near 70th Street and Cornhusker Highway.
It happened on Feb. 10, as security cameras spotted the duo cutting open the top of a Mazda Miata convertible.
The thieves took a JBL speaker and a “small amount” of cash, according to police.
Shortly before the theft, the duo was spotted inside the business. They left in a Dodge Ram with “non-matching” wheels, police said.
