LPD: Residents corner burglar armed with multiple knives

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln apartment residents help with the arrest of a burglar armed with eight knives.
Saturday, around 2 a.m., officers were called to an apartment complex downtown, 1320 “P” St, for a burglary in progress.
Apartment residents alerted to the burglary chased and trapped him behind a door until officers arrived. The criminal was armed with multiple knives, reports Lincoln Police.
The burglar, 37-year-old Timothy Eulberg was arrested. Officers report finding two knives, 5.5 and 8 inches long, by the door Eulberg was trapped behind, and six more knives on his person.
Lincoln Police report three apartments were burglarized before Eulberg was caught. Several stolen items, from clothes to kitchen items, were found in the building’s elevator.
Eulberg is a Lincoln resident with a previous arrest warrant for trespassing. He was arrested on multiple burglary charges.
