Authorities are looking for a man who allegedly struck a liquor store employee with a bottle of alcohol.

Lincoln police say the male went into Ken’s Kegs at 1350 N 48th St. around 11 a.m. Tuesday and walked out with two bottles of alcohol.

When an employee confronted the shoplifter outside the store, the man hit him in the head with a bottle of Jack Daniel’s, police said.

A witness asked two women nearby to call 911. Neither of the women helped, and one of them grabbed a bottle and got into a car, police said.

The women – identified by police as 19-year-old Michelle Foster and 19-year-old Amy Fowlkes – were arrested for accessory to a felony and tampering with physical evidence.

The man responsible for striking the employee has not been found.
