LPD: Teen arrested for smashing in church windows

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Saturday afternoon, just before 5 o’clock, Lincoln police were called to the 500 block of N. 31st street on a report of a male smashing in car windows.

Officers contacted a witness who said he observed the male kicking out windshields and walking on cars in the area.  Officers located the suspect, 19-year-old Noah Marlin, in the 3000 block of T Street with injuries to his hand and nose. Marlin attempted to run away from officers however was taken into custody before entering a home.

Marlin was identified by witnesses as the person responsible for causing the damage to several vehicles and the church windows at Sacred Heart School.  The total Damage was estimated at 1,000 dollars. Marlin was arrested for five counts of vandalism and refuse to comply with order of police.
