LPD: Teen couple reportedly carjacked at Lincoln park

Authorities are investigating after a teenage couple reported being carjacked at a Lincoln park. 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities are investigating after a teenage couple reported being carjacked at a Lincoln park.

Lincoln police say an 18-year-old woman reported she and her 19-year-old  boyfriend were at Antelope Park when the carjacking happened.

The woman said they saw a group of people near her car and that when they approached them the people assaulted them and took the keys to her 2008 white Pontiac Grand Prix.

The woman reported some of the people took her car and others left the area, possibly in a different vehicle.

Police say the vehicle’s license plate number is WV560.

LPD is still looking for the vehicle.
