LPD: Teen robbed at gunpoint, Playstation 5 taken

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — According to Lincoln Police, a 16-year-old was robbed at gunpoint just outside of Kung Fu Tea, 4451 N 26th St.

The incident took place around 6:15 p.m. on Dec. 24th. The victims, a 49-year-old male and his son, were waiting outside Kung Fu Tea to sell a Playstation 5 to a buyer they had been previously messaging with.

The buyer arrived but remained in the backseat of the car that drove him there. The teen spoke briefly with the buyer through the car window, who then began inspecting the gaming console.

Suddenly, the buyer produced a pistol and told the victim to “give me all the rest,” reports Lincoln Police. The suspect then left the scene with the Playstation 5.

The parties involved have yet to be identified and the investigation is still ongoing.
