Authorities say a traffic stop of a car that had a fictitious license plate resulted in the seizure of drugs and an arrest.
The stop happened around 11 p.m. Thursday in the 4300 block of N. 70th St.
The driver – identified by police as 28-year-old Jeremiah Bonparte – had a suspended license and one fake license plate, police said.
After searching the vehicle, officers found .6 grams of meth, six ecstasy pills, a digital scale, and a 9mm handgun that had been reported stolen from Lancaster County, police said.
Bonaparte was arrested for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of a controlled substance and traffic offenses.
