LPD: Two arrested after officers find more than half a pound of meth in Lincoln bust

Lincoln Police arrested two people after officers reportedly found them with drugs and cash in a stolen car.
LPD said officers pulled over Ross Richardson, 37, and Ashley Menard, 34, for driving without headlights near 35th and O Street around 3 a.m. Saturday.
Officers reportedly found $2,487 and 14.65 grams of meth on Richardson, another $902 in Menard’s pocket, as well as baggies, a digital scale and meth residue in the vehicle.
After learning that the two were staying at a nearby hotel, police searched their room and reportedly found 263 grams of meth.
Richardson and Menard were jailed on drug charges.
