LPD: Woman arrested in assault, robbery of teen near downtown Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police made an arrest Monday in the assault and robbery of a teen near downtown Lincoln over the weekend.

Charlissa Lasley, 19, was arrested in connection to the assault and robbery that took place near 21st and J streets on Saturday.

Police said the victim, a 17-year-old girl, tried exchanging information with a driver after a crash at 21st and K streets.

The driver then started demanding cash, and the girl left the area.

LPD said the driver started following her.

When the girl pulled over, three people got out of the vehicle and attacked her.

The assailants also stole her vehicle’s keys before leaving the area.
