LPD: Woman robbed of purse while waiting at ATM in south Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman was robbed of her purse Friday evening while waiting at an ATM in south Lincoln, police say.

Around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a Wells Fargo Bank ATM near 27th Street and Nebraska Parkway on a report of a robbery.

Police said a 48-year-old woman was in the passenger seat of a vehicle when an unknown man wearing a ski mask started to bang on the window.

She rolled down the window and the man took her purse and “some cash,” for a loss of about $110, according to police.

The robber ran off east toward a nearby apartment complex, LPD said.
