LPD arrest hit and run suspect
The suspect was pulled over for driving under the influence

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Just after midnight on Friday Lincoln Police found a car with a missing front bumper in the parking lot of the Grata Bar on Jamie Lane.
The car matched the description of the car that fled the scene of a hit and run accident that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries on Aug. 6.

Officers watched the man driver enter the vehicle and drive northbound on 27th Street while speeding and swerving on the road.
The officers pulled over the car and had the driver, 44-year-old Tyler Kaulins, do a field sobriety test.
When Kaulins failed they took him to the station where he had a .296 blood-alcohol content.
His vehicle was inspected and it was determined to have damage consistent with the hit and run accident.
Kaulins was arrested for a felony leaving the scene of an injury accident and driving under the influence.
