LPS cancels Friday classes, giving students third snow day in one week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Public Schools will be closed on Friday — again.
It is the third day this week that classes have been canceled.
A winter storm is forecast to bring 4 to 8 inches of snow to the area Thursday and Friday, according to the Channel 8 Storm Alert Team.

LPS said it will be evaluating whether to hold activities scheduled for Saturday.
School is expected to resume Tuesday, as Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
