LPS superintendent interviews open to the public this week

But community members will not be able to comment during these meetings

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Board of Education is holding special public meetings where they will interview four superintendent finalists this week.

They start at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 1 and Feb. 4.  Both take place in the Lincoln Public Schools District Office,  5905 O St.

There will not be any public comment during the meetings to give each superintendent candidate an equal amount of time.  However, an online feedback form will be available to all community members.

You will be required to wear a mask should you attend the meetings in person.  There are streaming services available through the board’s webpage , YouTube channel, and LNKTV.

Each candidate will speak for one hour, and each meeting will include two candidates.
