LPS upgrades its coronavirus dashboard

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Public Schools (LPS) is upgrading their COVID-19 Dashboard.
Instead of only updating once a week, their dashboard will now provide new numbers daily.
The updates will be made by 6 a.m. each day.
There are also tabs at the top of the website, breaking down the data between elementary, middle, and high school levels.
The number of student exclusions, students self-isolating after a positive test or being in close contact with some positive for coronavirus, will also be included in the updated report.
So far this week, 1,136 students are in exclusion, and 16 have tested positive.
As for staff, 108 are in exclusion with only one positive case.
