LSO: 113lbs of marijuana found during traffic stop

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A traffic stop turned into a major drug bust for the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office (LSO) Thursday morning.
Deputies pulled over a driver, with two passengers, for speeding on I-80 at mile marker 395, near the N 48th St exit.
Authorities say there was evidence of criminal activity that led to the vehicle being searched. LSO uncovered about 113 lbs of vacuum-sealed marijuana, 11lbs of THC honey, and 78 THC wax tablets.
All three individuals were taken into custody. They are identified as 20-year-old Michael Salter, 38-year-old Tiffany Thigpen, and 19-year-old Miranda Loader from Illinois.
