LTU announces closures on A Street in east Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Parts of A Street will be closed this week, the city announced Tuesday.

There will be daily lane closures between 48th and 56th streets from Wednesday through Friday.

The closures will last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, according to the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department.

Eastbound A Street between 40th and 48th streets will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.

Drivers are suggested to take 40th or 48th to South Street as a detour.
