Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

If it hasn't already, breast cancer will likely touch you or someone you know. The disease will strike more than 200,000 times this year and claim more than 40,000 lives. In Nebraska, 1,125 will learn they have breast cancer and 273 will die from the disease.
Join Channel 8 Eyewitness News co-anchor, Natalie Faunce and help make breast cancer a thing of the past when you participate in this year's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. The event will take place at Holmes Park on Sunday, October 19.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a non-competitive walk designed to raise awareness, foster camaraderie, and raise funds for breast cancer research, services, patient education, and advocacy.

The 2003 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Lincoln is sponsored by Ameritas Life Insurance, Quest Diagnostics, Channel 8 KLKN-TV, and KFOR radio.
