Male injured in west Lincoln stabbing

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was stabbed in west Lincoln early Saturday, police say.

Just before 2:30 a.m., at least seven Lincoln Police Department vehicles were seen at First and M streets.

LPD said a 39-year-old Lincoln man was found at the scene with stab wounds to the arm and leg.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious — but not life-threatening — injuries, according to LPD.

Police said he is in stable condition.

A Channel 8 reporter saw officers putting up crime scene tape.

They were using flashlights as they investigated outside the house on the southeast corner of the intersection.
