Man accused of defecating near AC unit and threatening to kill a Nebraska officer

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man is accused of having a bowel movement in public and then telling a Nebraska officer, “You are a dead man, when I get out.”

That’s according to the Grand Island Police Department, which says this all started when a woman spotted James Brown with his pants down.

She said he was defecating next to the air conditioner at a bus depot near Highway 34 and South Locust Street.  This was reported just before 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Brown was arrested for public indecency and littering, as GIPD says his pile of excrement left stains.

He’s also charged with terroristic threats for what he’s accused of telling the officer at jail.
