Man accused of DUI in rollover crash northwest of Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man is accused of driving drunk in a rollover crash northwest of Lincoln on Friday.

The driver, a 23-year-old man from Ulysses, was cited on suspicion of DUI, careless driving and failure to wear a seatbelt, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crash happened shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Northwest 84th Street between West Davey and West Rock Creek roads, near Branched Oak Lake.

A vehicle was going about 65 mph on a gravel road when it rolled over and ended up in a ditch, according to the sheriff’s office.

The driver and a passenger were taken to a hospital.  The other two passengers suffered minor injuries.

Raymond Volunteer Fire & Rescue and Valparaiso Fire & Rescue responded to the crash.
