LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lancaster County man has pleaded no contest to three counts of unlawful intrusion.

Court records show 53-year-old Scott Nickell agreed to the plea deal which reduced the three felony charges he originally faced to misdemeanors.

Investigators said in an arrest affidavit filed in 2019 that a woman had become increasingly suspicious of Nickell after he had been using his phone to take videos of a 15-year-old girl at “odd” times.

In one instance, the woman saw Nickell using his phone to take video of the teen and her friends in a pool, according to the document.

The woman who reported him also said she found videos of people using a bathroom, according to the affidavit.

Nickell faces up to three years behind bars.

He is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
