LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Wednesday after he shot at two people in Grand Island, police say.

Around 10:50 p.m., Troy Behnken fired his shotgun “numerous” times at a tow truck driver, who was unloading a vehicle at Ken’s Auto, police said.

The owner of the towed vehicle was also in the line of fire.

The shots damaged the front windows of Ken’s Auto and two vehicles on the property, according to police.

Behnken went back inside his apartment, and officers demanded that he come outside.

But Behnken refused, and officers eventually forced entry into the home and took him into custody.

He was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including two counts of using a firearm to commit a felony.
