Man accused of pointing gun at neighbor in southeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Friday after pointing a gun at a neighbor in southeast Lincoln, police say.

At around 10 p.m., officers were sent to a home near 40th Street and Normal Boulevard on a report of a weapons violation.

The caller told officers they were confronted by their neighbor, 24-year-old Keenan Woodford-Fortner, after a disturbance.

They reported that Woodford-Fortner had pointed a gun at them, according to police.

Officers identified Woodford-Fortner and he was taken into custody.

The gun involved in the disturbance has been recovered, LPD said.

Woodford-Fortner was arrested on suspicion of two counts of terroristic threats and two counts of using a firearm to commit a felony.

No one was injured.
