Man accused of sexual assault, false imprisonment caught near Lincoln school
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man accused of sexual assault, false imprisonment and several other crimes was arrested near a Lincoln school on Sunday.
Ernesto Leyva refused to come out of a home next to Dawes Middle School for about three hours, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
Officers were originally called to North 52nd and Ervin Streets just before 8:30 a.m.
The 34-year-old is also charged with terroristic threats, domestic assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and possession of a controlled substance.
He’s due in court this Thursday at 2 p.m.
