Man accused of stabbing woman in neck at north Lincoln home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Tuesday in the stabbing of a woman at a north Lincoln home earlier this month.

Jarrell Walker, 25, is charged on suspicion of first-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, court records say.

On July 14, officers were sent to a home near 19th and Superior streets on a report of a woman who was stabbed.

The victim had been stabbed three times in the neck by Walker, according to an arrest affidavit.  Walker and the victim knew each other.

She was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The victim identified Walker as the assailant, and investigators issued a warrant for Walker’s arrest.

Walker is appearing in court Wednesday at 2 p.m.  His bond has not yet been set.
