LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Saturday after threatening to kill an officiant at a Grand Island wedding, police say.

Around 3:50 p.m., officers responded to Stolley Park Gardens on a report of a man “out of control” at a wedding, according to police.

Nicholas Orona showed up to the wedding intoxicated and threatened to kill the officiant, police said.

Orona was held down until officers arrived and took him into custody.

Police said Orona also threatened to kill two officers and sexually assault another during the arrest.

Orona was arrested on suspicion of three counts of terroristic threats.
