Man and teen threaten women with fake guns over alleged drug debt

Lincoln Police arrested 21-year-old Marcus Cooper and a 17-year-old male early Tuesday morning for terroristic threats and robbery.

Lincoln Police Officer Luke Bonkiewicz said Cooper and the teen told them they went to an apartment near 18th and Knox to settle an $80 drug debt.

The victims, two young women, told police they owed Cooper money for a television.

They said Cooper and the teen banged on the door of the apartment and yelled for them to pay up. They said they told them to go away and that’s when Cooper and the teen threatened them with realistic looking BB guns.

Bonkiewicz said the women gave them cash and called the police.

Cooper went to jail. The teen was taken to the Youth Attention Center.
