Man armed with knife assaulted victim at west Lincoln home, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Wednesday after attacking a woman at a west Lincoln home, police say.
Around 3 p.m., officers were sent to a home near Northwest 22nd and O streets on a report of a weapons violation.
Police said Tristan Jackson, 48, went to a woman’s home to get a cellphone, which was left there the night before.
Jackson became “upset” and hit the woman in the face, according to police.
He then pulled out a knife from his pocket and swung it at her, police said.
The victim had minor injuries to her face and a small cut on her left arm.
Officers recovered the knife at the scene and later found Jackson at a home near 13th and South streets.
He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
