Man arrested after ramming into car in Grand Island, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man who was under the influence of drugs crashed into a car Tuesday, Grand Island Police say.
Around 9 p.m., officers found Shawn Bray near East Seventh and Beal Streets after he had rammed into a vehicle, which had two people inside.
Bray told officers that he had been using “illicit substances,” but police did not say what those substances were.
After an evaluation, Bray was found to be under the influence of drugs and was taken into custody, police say.
He was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief (over $5,000 of damage) and driving under the influence of drugs.
Police did not disclose if anyone was injured in the crash.
