Man arrested after police say he drove drunk in jail parking lot

22-year-old Curtis Scott faces multiple charges after he was caught driving drunk in the Lancaster County Jail parking lot.
Lincoln Police Officer Angela Sands said a witness reported a suspected drunk driver was weaving in the lot and drove over an island.
Police found the vehicle empty in the parking lot and found Scott in the lobby of the jail causing a disturbance. Officers were going to detain him for a DUI investigation but Scott resisted arrest.
Officers eventually got him to the police cruiser where they searched him. They found THC wax, a xanax pill and more than $400 in cash.
He continued resisting the officers and Sands said they took him back inside the jail where he was booked.
He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substance, possession of money while violating those laws and DUI.
