Man arrested after threatening family with knife under bridge, Lincoln Police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Tuesday after he threatened a family with a knife on a trail near Antelope Creek, Lincoln Police say.
Around 5:15 p.m., a 36-year-old man told police that he had been walking with his three children under the bridge at 21st and O Streets when Randal Gordon, 48, approached them.
Gordan, who was holding a knife, started to yell at the man and his children, police say.
They then left the area and called the police.
Shortly after, officers found Gordon under the bridge with a folding knife.
Officers believed that Gordon had been intoxicated, police say.
Gordan was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
