LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man is facing a felony charge after a hit-and-run crash last week in north Lincoln.

The crash happened Friday around 9:30 p.m. at 31st and Vine streets.

Mohammed Almusa, 25, went through a red light and turned in front of an eastbound vehicle, an arrest affidavit alleges.

Two people in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries, police said.

Almusa drove off, but officers found him near his home, according to the affidavit.

He was taken to a hospital before being arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an injury accident.

A Lancaster County judge set Almusa’s bond at $20,000, meaning he must pay $2,000 to be released from jail.
