Man arrested in shooting that damaged north Lincoln home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Tuesday in a shooting that damaged a north Lincoln home last month, police say.

The shooting was reported around 8:20 a.m. on Oct. 21 at a home near 24th and Holdrege streets.

A window was damaged, and a bullet hole was found in the drywall.  Police estimated that the home had around $410 in damage.

Around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, authorities arrested 24-year-old Talon Dennis near 56th and Benton streets.

He was arrested on suspicion of unlawful discharge of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Police said the gun was not recovered.
