Man assaulted by teens at northwest Lincoln park, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was attacked Monday morning by a group of teens at a northwest Lincoln park, police say.

Around 7 a.m., three males assaulted a 44-year-old man on the ground and dragged him into the street at Lakeview Park.

Police said the victim suffered “extensive” injuries to his face and head.

He was taken to a hospital and treated for an orbital fracture and lung contusion.

Officers later took a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy into custody.

An investigation is ongoing, according to LPD.
