Man assaulted, shot by three men in northwest Omaha, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was hospitalized Monday after he was shot by three unknown assailants in Omaha, police say.

Around 9 a.m., officers were sent to a neighborhood near 90th and Maple Streets on a report of a shooting.

By the time officers arrived, the victim – a 25-year-old man – had already been taken to a local hospital.

Officers later spoke with the victim, who said he had been assaulted and shot by three men.

Police said the victim has injuries that are not life-threatening.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.
