Man ate meth and resisted arrest at Grand Island gas station, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was ticketed Wednesday after eating meth in front of officers in Grand Island, police say.
Around 1 a.m., officers were sent to Pump & Pantry near Locust Street and Highway 34 on a report of a man passed out in a truck.
Officers spotted a meth pipe in the truck’s cup holder, police said.
The man was asked to exit the truck, but he refused.
Police said he then grabbed meth near the pipe and “ingested it.”
Officers opened the door and pulled the driver out of the vehicle, but they say he resisted them.
He was eventually cited on suspicion of several charges, including tampering with physical evidence and resisting arrest.
