Man attempts to break into Lincoln church, police looking for suspect

Police said a man was caught on camera attempting to break into a northeast Lincoln church Tuesday afternoon.
The pastor at the church, Mount Olive Lutheran Church, near 80th and Holdrege street reported the crime.
He said a white male kicked the glass door of the church, cracking the glass. The man was not able to get inside, but caused $1,000 in damage.
Surveillance video showed a white male in his twenties, weighing about 180 pounds, wearing a t-shirt and tennis shoes.
Lincoln Police are working on releasing the surveillance video, we will have it on Channel 8 later today.
