Man carjacked good Samaritan at southeast Nebraska gas station, authorities say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — No good deed goes unpunished.
A good Samaritan was carjacked in southeast Nebraska this week in a multistate crime spree, authorities say.
Shortly before 7 a.m. Monday, someone saw a vehicle broken down on Highway 136 east of Tecumseh and gave the driver a ride, according to the Johnson County Attorney’s Office.
When they got to the U-Stop in Tecumseh, the man pulled a gun and demanded the good Samaritan’s cellphone and vehicle, authorities said.
He drove off and dumped the cellphone a short distance away, the county attorney’s office said.
Later that day, police officers near Oklahoma City stopped the stolen car and arrested the driver, Danger Cabellero.
Authorities later determined that the broken-down vehicle near Tecumseh was stolen the night before in an armed robbery in Platte City, Missouri.
