Man caught with cocaine, ecstasy pills in north Lincoln traffic stop, deputy says
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Deputies found drugs inside a car during a north Lincoln traffic stop on Monday, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says.
Around 1:50 p.m., 31-year-old Cecil Marshall was pulled over for following too closely on Interstate 80 near the Lincoln Airport.
Deputies started searching the vehicle after they saw “little pieces of marijuana,” Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said.
Inside, deputies found 61.5 grams of powdered cocaine and 145 grams of ecstasy pills.
Marshall, who is from New Jersey, was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.
“Anytime you can get the ecstasy and cocaine off the streets, that’s a good stop,” Houchin said.
