Man caught with meth, THC wax after north Lincoln traffic stop, affidavit alleges

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man is facing several felony charges after a traffic stop Thursday in north Lincoln, court documents say.
Around 6:50 p.m., investigators followed a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Christian Choma until it stopped near 27th and Holdrege streets.
Choma was wanted on a felony warrant in Lancaster County, according to an arrest affidavit.
Police said Choma — who has a history of running away from officers — was ordered out of the vehicle at gunpoint.
Investigators searched Choma, who had two bags of suspected methamphetamine and a knife, the affidavit alleges.
Inside the vehicle, authorities found a concealed pouch containing suspected homemade THC wax and marijuana, police said.
Investigators also discovered items that are sometimes used in drug sales, according to the affidavit.
Choma was charged with five felonies, including possession of a drug with intent to deliver.
A Lancaster County judge set Choma’s bond at $300,000. He must pay $30,000 to be released from jail.
